A few days later, I stopped by A&F Gallery and was pleasantly greeted by a woman working at the counter. She gave me a professional price of HALF that of the chain store. She also gave me the option to choose a mat and frame that are extras (not special ordered). Frames can sell from $7.99+ and mats are from $3.99+ The woman helped me pick colors, framed the artwork , and put a wire hanger on the back.
We have sent several clients out here for art work and they were very pleased with the professionalism and knowledge they had on the art work. A member of our staff had custom framing done on his uniform and is very pleased with the results.
I was interested in framing an 8x10 drawing that I was gifting for an aunt. I went to a chain craft store in Greensburg to learn that it would cost nearly $200. Although I have an understanding of what goes into framing, $200 was more than I wanted to spend.
